Central Ohio PRSA is committed to the future of the profession. As such, due to the generosity of our members, Central Ohio PRSA offers scholarships to full-time public relations students who demonstrate academic achievement and engagement in their chapter. Scholarships are only open to students who are enrolled universities affiliated with Central Ohio PRSA:

  • Capital University
  • Ohio Dominican University
  • Ohio University
  • Ohio Northern University
  • Otterbein University
  • The Ohio State University


Scholarships are available for:

  • Attending Central Ohio PRSA professional development events
  • Attending PRSSA International Conference
  • Associate PRSA membership after graduation

Central Ohio PRSA PRSSA Scholarship - Due September 25

Central Ohio PRSA is offering one, one year paid PRSSA membership per Central Ohio Chapter. A total of 6 scholarships will be awarded. Those include:

-Ohio University
-Otterbein University
-Capital University
-The Ohio State University
-Ohio Dominican University
-Ohio Northern University

To qualify, you must be:

  • A PRSSA member in good standing
  • Pursuing a public relations/communications degree full-time


Scholarship selection will be based on aptitude, interest in the public relations field, academic performance and commitment to service.

Central Ohio PRSA International Conference Scholarship

To help defray or cover the costs of the International PRSSA Conference, Central Ohio PRSA offers scholarships. Recipients will be expected to provide a blog on their experience and knowledge learned at the conference. For 2020, since this is a virtual conference, PRSA Central Ohio will fund the cost of the program. 

To qualify, you must be:

  • A PRSSA member in good standing
  • Pursuing a public relations/communications degree full-time (enrolled in at least 12 hours)

Scholarship selection will be based on aptitude, interest in the public relations field, academic performance and commitment to service.

 

Central Ohio PRSA Professional Development Scholarship (Paid Programs, including Conference)

To promote professional development, students can apply to attend a paid Central Ohio PRSA professional development event (breakfast, luncheon, evening or conference) at no charge. Recipients will be expected to provide a blog on their experience and knowledge learned at the event.

To qualify, you must be:

  • A PRSSA member in good standing
  • Pursuing a public relations/communications degree full-time (enrolled in at least 12 hours)
